Holly-Hunter
Holly Hunter is a well-known American actor also known as a producer, director and actress. Her work has been recognized for her roles in films like Broadcast News The Firm The Piano The Incredibles and The Incredibles. She has won several awards for her work and has even won an Oscar. The talented actress began her career as an actor on the stage through a variety of Broadway and Off-Broadway projects. Since her school days she played Helen Keller in a play in fifth grade. Mumps led her to lose hearing in one her ear, however this was not enough to stop the actress from fulfilling her dream. At college, she was a theatre student as well as later moving from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to New York City in pursuit of her dreams. Hunter was stuck in an elevator with playwright Beth Henley when she met her. They collaborated to create Broadway Crimes of the Heart in which Hunter made her Broadway debut. She moved into Los Angeles and tried to find films parts. The film, Swing Shift, she landed a role as a support. Her career spans more than 30 years and she's appeared in numerous TV shows, films and series. Holly Hunter won a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, in addition to an award called the Women in Film Lucy Award.
